Privacy policy

CloseUp is an iPhone app made by Hashtag Cinema, a video studio in Tampa Bay, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you use the CloseUp app and closeapp.com, and how we use it.

When you sign up we collect your name, email, brokerage and city. We use this to create your account, personalize daily ideas for your market and contact you about the service.

Videos, photos, listing details and other content you upload or import are stored so we can edit, organize and publish them for you. Hashtag Cinema editors may view your content only to complete edits you request.

Leads, clients and contacts you add are stored on your behalf to power follow ups and touch plans. We do not sell them or contact them for our own purposes.

If you turn on mileage tracking, we use your device location while a trip is being logged to calculate distance. You can turn this off at any time in iOS settings.

With your permission we send push notifications for daily ideas, reminders and finished edits. You can turn them off in iOS settings.

We collect usage and crash data to improve the app. This data is not used for third party advertising.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment information.

When you connect social accounts, we use the access you grant only to post and schedule content you choose and to read comments for lead features. You can disconnect any account at any time.

We share information with service providers that help us run CloseUp (hosting, payments, email) under contracts that protect your data, with your team if you join one, and when required by law.

You can delete your account in the app under Me, or ask us through the support page. We delete your account data within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.
